About Stacey | Founder of SLS Studio And SLS Acadèmie

Stacey Leigh Spalding is based in Falkirk, Central Scotland. With over 15 years as an independent beauty professional, Stacey is known for her calm approach, technical skill and focus on creating refined, wearable results.

Her background began in professional makeup and includes work across a wide range of settings, from private clients to television. One of the highlights of Stacey’s career was working as a makeup artist for the BBC on the comedy series Mrs Brown’s Boys, an experience that strengthened her confidence working in fast paced and professional environments.

Today, Stacey’s studio work focuses on Professional Makeup, Structured Gel Manicures, Nouveau LVL lash lifts and Brow services. Each appointment is tailored to the individual, with an emphasis on balance, detail and results that feel considered rather than overdone.

Stacey works closely with every client to ensure they feel comfortable, listened to and confident throughout their visit. Alongside her studio services, Stacey is an experienced LVL trainer, formerly certified by Nouveau, with a strong passion for education.

This led to the creation of SLS Académie, where she now delivers accredited training in Professional Make Up, LVL Lash Lifts, Brows and Nails. Her training style is relaxed, supportive and practical, designed to build confidence and real working skill rather than overwhelm. Stacey is known for her friendly and approachable nature and for creating an environment where both clients and students feel at ease. Whether you are visiting the studio for a treatment or training with SLS Académie, her aim is simple: to create beautiful work, to educate with clarity and to help others elevate their confidence and skill.
